A highmark is also a standard — the line against which everything else is measured. We're setting the highmark for what training in Calgary looks like: coach-led, intentionally capped, and built to a standard, not a headcount.
Highmark Training Co. started as a simple idea shared among four friends: South Calgary needed a training environment built the way we'd want to train ourselves — professional, coach-led, and protected from the crowding that comes with chasing membership numbers instead of member experience.
We're built around two internally developed training tracks. GOAT — Gymnastic, Olympic, Anaerobic Training — is our functional strength and conditioning track: skill, power, and classic high-intensity work delivered by qualified coaches. ENGINE is our Hyrox-style endurance track, built around aerobic capacity, repeatable output, and structured race preparation. Members choose their emphasis while building overall athleticism — and both tracks live under one roof, one community, one standard.
We are not a big-box gym, and we're not chasing the raw, gritty, underground powerlifting aesthetic either. Highmark sits somewhere between a boutique fitness studio and a technical outdoor apparel brand — clean, ordered, and confident, without ever trying too hard to prove it.
